Seasonal Moving Images
Overview
The primary purpose of Seasonal Moving Images is to capture the natural movement of talent wearing product, and/or utilizing gear while participating in a seasonal sport or activity. Whether featuring one talent or a group interacting with each other, actions should focus on capturing merch with the intention of use and highlighting any seasonal significance.
The same principles used for Photography should be kept in mind for Moving Images—celebrating authentic interactions and activities in real-life scenarios, but most importantly, capturing products and details. We are not looking at capturing Moving Images as storytelling or narratives for Equity campaigns.
Consider the best camera angle(s) for the situation to ensure that branding and product details are visible and that seasonality is evident. Moving Images should be captured at a high frame rate so footage can be adjusted in editing with the ability to slow it down or ramp it up, depending on what best highlights the seasonal activity captured.
