Product zones

The majority of space within the Special Print books are dedicated to the product zone. This zone contains all of the products which are included in the promotional event. These slots can contain lifestyle or close cut images, Save Stories, product copy, logos, badges and more.

Front cover product zones
 

Some Special Print books contain product zones on their front covers. These zones contain sellable products which are secondary to the feature image zone and the products within it. The zone is commonly found in the right-most column or across the bottom row of the grid.

A – Minimum of 0p6 margins between product zone and feature image.

B – Product images should have 0p6 margins between individual product slots, regardless of type of imagery used.

C - Lifestyle slots must be separated by 0p6 margins with a 0.75pt CT Soft Black dividing line centered within the margin.

D - The content within the product zone can extent to the full width of height of the zone's bounds if there is no zone abutting that edge or if that zone has built in clear space (i.e., footers, pop-up zones)

 

Product SKUs can be display as close-cut images or as lifestyle photography. Depending on which option is selected, the layout of the product zone adjusts accordingly. A combination of product display styles should never be used within the same zone on the front cover. There should not be more than 4 products in this zone. Products should be separated by a minimum of 0p6 and must align to the grid. Lifestyle photography must be separated by a 0.75 pt dividing line in CT Soft Black.
