Tier 2B: Mega Sale
Identity
The Mega Sale events target key seasonal periods—spring and fall—to bring customers a variety of seasonally relevant savings. These events span 3 weeks with new sales occurring during each of the weeks. Due to the nature of these sales, the event utilizes the week's seasonal colour palette and applies the dominant colour more heavily than other events and is supported by a unique pattern.

Identity components
Lockup construction
Mega Sale lockups are made up of four key elements:
A – Duration (optional)
B – Season / event
C – Tier (type of sale)
D – Tagline (optional)
The duration and event copy are different for each Mega Sale. Here's how to update them, if required:

D – CT Eastman Roman Bold
E – Consistent leading

Orientation
Mega Sale event lockups each have a variety of orientations in order to best fit the needs of different channels. Always select the orientation that has the most presence in your layout.
A – Vertical
B – Horizontal 1
C – Horizontal 2
Colour
The Mega Sale program uses either CT Red or CT White for lockups. The background pattern's colour should mirror the dominant seasonal colour currently in use.
Lockup colour options
The preferred colour scheme for Mega Sale lockups is CT White text over a patterned background in a seasonal colour; however, CT Red text over a CT White background is possible when the situation requires it. Always ensure that there is adequate contrast between the lockup and background.
Preferred colour scheme: CT White over a pattern in a seasonal colour.
Alternate colour scheme: CT Red over a CT White background.
Pattern
Mega Sale events use a unique pattern based on the Triangle Element. The pattern takes on the seasonal colour in use for the week.
Example patterns
Patterns are always monochromatic—never mix two colours.
Always use monochromatic colour schemes in patterns.
