Gifting Brandmark overview
The Canadian Tire Gifting Brandmark is a graphical variation of our Primary Brandmark, used to promote gifting and express Christmas holiday celebration. There are strictly limited instances of application for the Gifting Brandmark. This is to avoid confusion with our Primary Brandmark and to ensure it is not overused outside of its scope.
There are three instances of usage for the Canadian Tire Gifting Brandmark.

Background
Similar to our Primary Brandmark, the Gifting Brandmark can be used on any colour background and will always retain its look.
Canadian Tire Gifting Brandmark
Unless used on a white background, the white keyline must be present on colour/image backgrounds.
Clear space
For maximum brand impact, avoid crowding the Gifting Brandmark within a design by using the Brandmark leaf to create clear space around it.
Scale and minimum size
Avoid making the Brandmark too small. In order to achieve the highest impact, use the correct size/format based on the application it is being used on. Not sure which version to use? Email the Brand Design Systems team at BrandSteward@cantire.com.
Gifting Brandmark—one-colour reverse
In rare instances where colour is not available, a one-colour reverse version of the Gifting Brandmark has been created. Examples where this may be used include newsprint, silk screening onto fabric or other surfaces, embroidery or rubber stamps.

Corporate Use
The Gifting Brandmark can be used for corporate/internal purposes in relation to the holidays and gifting. Examples could be holiday cards or other corporate communications during the holiday season.
In the case of everyday corporate communications not related to Christmas events, one should avoid usage of the Gifting Brandmark. Using the Gifting Brandmark outside of Christmas or gifting usage will dilute its message.
Dos and don'ts
DON'T stretch or compress the Brandmark.
DON'T recolour the artwork.
DON'T add effects to the Brandmark.
DON'T use the Brandmark within a different Omni-Identity.
AVOID use alone on external-facing advertisements.
EXCEPT in circumstances where full CCS identity is being executed over multiple frames.
DON’T use on an email signature or corporate letterhead.
