Tier 2A: Super Sale & Fête nationale
Identity
Super Sale events target micro-seasons throughout the year, bringing customers in store near gift-giving calendar dates. These events span a single week and utilize the week's seasonal colour palette in combination with CT Red. To align with all other Tier 2 events, the Super Sale is supported by a unique pattern.

Identity components
Lockup construction
Super Sale lockups are made up of three key elements:
A – Duration (optional)
B – Event
C – Tier (type of sale)
The duration and event copy are different for each Super Sale. Here's how to update them, if required:
A – CT Eastman Compressed Bold
B – CT Eastman Roman Bold
C – CT Eastman Compressed Bold
D – Consistent leading
Always begin with the predesigned lockups, available in the downloads section of this page. Updates should be minimal, limited to wording only. If more substantial changes are required please contact the Brand Design Systems team at BrandSteward@cantire.com.
Orientation
Super Sale event lockups each have a variety of orientations in order to best fit the needs of different channels. Always select the orientation that has the most presence in your layout.
A – Vertical
B – Horizontal 1
C – Horizontal 2
D – Horizontal 3
Colour
Lockup colour options
The preferred colour scheme for Super Sale lockups is white text over a red background; however, these colours may be inverted when the situation requires it. Lockups may also be placed over a patterned background in a seasonal colour. In this case, ensure there is adequate contrast between the lockup and background.
Pattern
Super Sale events use a unique pattern based on the Triangle Element. The pattern takes on the seasonal colour in use for the week.
Example patterns
Patterns are always monochromatic. Do not mix two different colours.
Always use monochromatic colour schemes in patterns
Never mix colours
Fête nationale
Saint Jean-Baptiste-Day, or the Fête nationale du Québec, is the only Super Sale event with a unique colour palette. To speak to the nature of the event, the Fête nationale identity uses a unique blue and white colour scheme. The lockup construction, pattern and event design remain aligned to the greater Super Sale event identity.
