Identity overview

The Gift Registry at Canadian Tire offers a service to those celebrating a special milestone. Customers can curate a list of products to celebrate their special occasions, and share it with others. From our website, to paid media channels, the Canadian Tire Gift Registry requires a consistent visual identity to build awareness, drive sales and create a cohesive experience. This includes a Gift Registry lockup and a Gift Registry CX icon.

Gift Registry lockup

The Gift Registry lockup follows the same foundational rules as all other category brand signatures. Various formats and orientations are available to work across a range of layouts and applications. Gift Registry Lockup—one-colour reverse

Gift Registry one-colour reverse presentation

In rare instances where colour is not available, a one-colour reverse version of the Gift Registry Lockup has been created. Examples where this may be used include newsprint, silk screening onto fabric or other surfaces, embroidery or rubber stamps.

Gift Registry CX icon

There may be occasions where it is effective to convey the Gift Registry identity across channels in small spaces where a visual shorthand is required. In these instances, we suggest the use of our Gift Registry CX Icon. Customer Experience Icons are Omni-Channel and are used to communicate programs and innovative/unique services and offerings that customers can experience at Canadian Tire, both in store and digitally. Identity dos and don'ts

DO apply the Gift Registry identity in all channels.

DON'T use Gift Registry as a wordmark without the Canadian Tire Brandmark.

DO utilize the appropriate orientation of the lockup for your composition.

DON'T use the CT Gifting Brandmark as a replacement for the Gift Registry lockup..

DON'T use the Primary Brandmark with the Gift Registry lockup.
