Canadian Tire Pride Brandmark

Pride Brandmark Overview

The Canadian Tire Pride Brandmark is a graphical variation of our Primary Brandmark, used to promote pride celebrations and alliance with 2SLGBTQIA+ initiatives

There are strictly limited instances of application for the Pride Brandmark. This is to avoid confusion with our Primary Brandmark and to ensure it is not overused outside of its scope.

The Pride Brandmark should be used in instances where Canadian Tire is supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ causes. Its use is corporate in scope and should not be used on any retail identities. Its use must be approved by both Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging and Brand Steward.

Background

Canadian Tire Pride Brandmark

Unless used on a white background, the white keyline must be present on colour/image backgrounds.

Clear space

For maximum brand impact, avoid crowding the Pride Brandmark within a design by using the leaf icons to create clear space around it.

Scale and minimum size

Avoid making the Brandmark too small. In order to achieve the highest impact, use the correct size/format based on the application it is being used on. Not sure which version to use? Email the Brand Design Systems team at BrandSteward@cantire.com.

Brandmark plus Wordmark

There are instances where the Brandmark may be used beside the Canadian Tire Wordmark. Please note its limited use as mentioned above.
